Our Lord has given us a trust, do we use it for good or the bad?

"All that Allah has given to us is a trust from Allah. Consequently our Lord will ask us if we used His trust for the noble causes or wasted them for no purpose or misused them."

Woe to the liars and put your trust unto Allah who shall direct your path to the truth

The Prophet ﷺ [peace be upon him] said:

"There will come upon the people years of deceit in which the liar will be believed, the truthful disbelieved, the treacherous will be trusted and the trustworthy held to be treacherous, and the despicable (ar-Ruwaybidah) will speak out." It was said: "Who are the despicable (ar-Ruwaybidah)?" He said: "The lowly, ignoble man who speaks out about public affairs."

As Allah says in the Noble Quran, in Sura At-Tauba (The Repentance):

وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْماً بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَاهُمْ حَتَّى يُبَيِّنَ لَهُم مَّا يَتَّقُونَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

“And Allah will never misguide a people after He has guided them, until He makes clear to them as to what they should avoid, verily Allah is the All-Knower of everything.” [Sûrah Tauba 9:115]
