O believers, Fasting is much more than mere abstinenece from food and drink ...
Our evil actions and habits nullify the fasts in Ramadan - so why continue to do them? (Warning to the youth)
Posted by:
Abu Hurairah also reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Allah does not need the fast of one who does not abandon false speech or acting according to his false speech.
He also reported the Prophet (SAW) as saying: "Whoever does not abandon falsehood in word and action, then Allah Mighty and Majestic has no need [i.e. will not accept] that he should leave his food and drink". [Bukhari]
Subhanallah, this is the time we all stop our evil actions, whether it be backbiting, slandering, smoking, habits which are harmful to ones Deen, those which are done privately and openly, the HARAM! Relationships that we engage ourselves in! Astaghfirullaah...
This is the time we PULL ourselves from these habits and purify our actions and make them pleasing to the All-Mighty.
Those who are in Haram Relationships atm, il give u [sic] advice, Get married or leave the relationship asap! Coz [sic] if ur sinning in this month doing what u do with the other person, Subhanallah...
Only ALLAH KNOWS if ur fasting is being accepted as this is considered a major sin in Islam.. And if ur fasts are not accepted then youl b [sic] fasting for 18hours for NO REASON!
Starving for no reason...
Get married or Leave it b4 [sic] Ramadan finishes inshaa'Allah.
Just a simple naseeha to those who are in this situation, not attacking anyone here inshaa'Allah. :)

Conduct regarding Backbiting and Slander
It is reported by 'Abdullah Ibn Mas`ud that Rasulullah ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:
"To backbite a Muslim is an act of transgression (fisq) and to fight him is unbelief (kufr)."
(Bukhari, Muslim)
Abu Sa`id al-Khudri related that Rasulullah ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:
"Slander is worse than adultery."
He was asked how slander could be worse than adultery, and he answered:
"If a person commits adultery, he can be forgiven by Allah if he repents. But a slanderer
will not be forgiven until he is forgiven by the person he had been speaking about."
(Baihaqi)
Abu Hurairah reported that once Rasulullah ﷺ (peace be upon him) asked:
"Do you know what is backbiting?"
He was answered: Allah and His Messenger know best; Rasulullah ﷺ (peace be upon him) then said:
"Anything that you say about someone in his absence that may displease him."
Someone asked: 'Even if he is as I describe him?' and Rasulullah ﷺ (peace be upon him) added:
"If he is as you describe him then you are guilty of backbiting, otherwise you are guilty of
slander (which is worse than backbiting)." (Muslim)
As Allah revealed in the Noble Qur`an:
"O you who believe! Avoid much of suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. Do not spy, nor backbite some of you to others. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of its dead brother? You would hate it. Fear Allah. Surely, Allah is the one who Accepts repentance, Merciful." [Noble Qur`an, Surah Al-Hujurat 49:12]
