There are three signs of a show-off

1. He is lazy when alone
2. active when with people
3. and does more work when he is praised for it and less when blamed for it

So be careful when doing a good deed. Remember for whom you should be doing it. Remember your purpose.

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala mentions in the Qur’an:

“When they stand up for prayer, they stand up unwillingly, to be seen by the people, and they do not remember Allah except a little.” [4:142]

He mentions:

“Woe to the worshippers who are unmindful of their prayer those who want to be seen (at worship), yet refuse small kindnesses.” [107:4-7]

And again:

“O, you who believe, do not cancel out your charity by reminders (of your own good deeds) and by offending (the recipients) like one who spends his wealth to be seen by the people.” [18:110]

The Prophet Muhammad salaAllahu a’alayhi wa salam said:

“If anyone causes his deeds to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of (unfavourably), and if anyone makes hypocritical display, Allah will make a display of him.” [HADITH]

He salaAllahu a’alayhi wa salam also said:

“The greatest fear I have about you [Muslims] is minor shirk. That is, doing good deeds for show. On the day when Allah will reward people for their deeds, He will tell them ‘Go to those people for whose attention and praise you did these deeds, and see if they will reward you.” [HADITH]

Allah is the all-Knowing and is aware of what is truly in your heart.

Do your good deeds understanding that Allah is the all-Seeing and He is the only one that needs to see it.

New data shows Washington has given more than 115 billion dollars in financial aid to Israel over the years, indicating Tel Aviv’s great dependence on the US.

According to the report published by the Congressional Research Service Israel has received more assistance from the US than 15 European countries did to recover from the devastation caused during World War II.

More than 67 billion dollars of the Washington's aid to Israel has been in military, the report said.

The astonishing report adds that the US has allocated 3.1 billion dollars, around one-fifth of its defense budget, to Israel this year alone.

Americans also allow the Israeli army to use their emergency reserve ammunition stored in Israel. The value of the weapons held in the US emergency supplies is 1.2 billion dollars.

The US gives billions of dollars in American taxpayers' money to the Tel Aviv regime each year in the form of military and economic aid, legally justified as part of US government's foreign aid package.

Washington has never downsized its annual 3 billion dollars grant to the Israeli regime despite going through its worst recession in decades which has prompted the government to impose major cuts on most public service programs for citizens.

Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states are creating a multimillion-dollar fund to bankroll the Syrian rebels battling President Assad’s regime.

Attendants at the weekend’s Friends of Syria conference confirmed to AP that plans were afoot to fund the fighting.

Turkey’s foreign minister told the meeting, convened to raise funds for regime change in Syria, that the meeting supported the covenant of the Syrian national council as a legitimate representative of "all Syrians”.

The Turkey-based Syrian National Council will use the slush fund to pay salaries of Free Syrian Army soldiers and defectors from the Syrian armed forces.

“The SNC will take charge of the payment of fixed salaries of all officers, soldiers, and others who are members of the Free Syrian Army,” Council head Burhan Ghalioun said.

One of the officials called the fund a “pot of gold” to undermine President Bashar Assad's army.

The United States has also announced additional American “aid to the Syrian people” that will bring the total to $12 million. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the US would provide communications equipment to the rebels.

The meeting gathered more than 70 representatives of Arab and Western countries who support the Syrian opposition in its fight against President Assad’s regime.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia called on the Friends of Syria to arm the rebels, saying supplying weapons is a “duty”. However, most of the conference participants are not ready to provide anything beyond non-lethal aid.

Journalist and political analyst Christoph Hoerstel told RT that salaries for the rebels are not news, as they “have been paid since the beginning.”

He insists that the conflict in Syria had been planned in advance from as early as summer 2010, and that this information “kills the whole story the West and some of those corrupt allies… are making out of Syria.”

The United States said Thursday it would grant $100 million to Tunisia to pay its debts, hoping to let the government focus on the economy and show a success in the birthplace of the Arab Spring.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tunisia will be given 

$100 million by the United States to help pay off its debts. (Reuters) 

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the United States was also negotiating a separate package in which Washington would offer loan guarantees to raise hundreds of millions of dollars in capital for Tunisia.

Clinton, who spoke by telephone Wednesday with Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali, said the aid would let Tunisia pare down debts to the World Bank and African Development Bank left over from dictator Zine El Abidine Ben Ali’s 23-year regime.

The $100 million U.S. cash transfer will allow Tunisia “to instead use this money for its priority programs, accelerating economic growth and job creation,” Clinton said in a statement...

Syrian rebel death squads...yea they`re the 'legitimate representatives of the Syrian people' claimed by the U.S., we`ve heard that before

Syrian rebels have formed their own laws, courts and death squads in Baba Amr neighborhood in the restive city of Homs and beheaded the captured army soldiers, a report has revealed.

The report, published by Spiegel Online on Monday, discloses violent measures by the anti-government armed groups, laying bare the other side of the unrest in the Middle Eastern country.

Hussein, one of the rebels fighting the government of President Bashar al-Assad, is quoted in the report as saying that he himself decapitated four army soldiers who had been detained by gunmen. Hussein said that he beheaded the first victim, a Shia soldier who had confessed to using violent tactics, in mid-October, 2011, in a cemetery.

Hussein did not care whether the soldier’s confessions were real or he had made them under duress. He had simply grabbed a knife and beheaded the soldier who had knelt down in front of him.

The soldier had been captured out of sheer “bad luck”, said Hussein.

While he is a member of a rebel death squad killing government forces in the name of the “Syrian revolution,” there are others who are responsible for torturing captured soldiers. Many rebels can torture, but not everyone can kill, admits Hussein, who is now receiving treatment in a hospital in the Lebanese city of Tripoli where he and his fellow companions are openly talking about torturing and killing Syrian army soldiers.

“But I do not know why killing is not difficult for me,” he added.

Hussein’s life story demonstrates the course of actions rebels have taken during more than a year in the Arab state.

The report further divulges that Syrian rebels in Homs have since August, 2011 begun regular execution of Syrian soldiers. “As of last summer, we have executed 150 men, which constitutes only 20 percent of our prisoners,” claimed another hospitalized rebel identified as Abu Rami.
“Moreover, when we realize that a Sunni is spying against us we then hold a brief trial for him,” Abu Rami said, adding that they have executed between 200 and 250 people in such cases.

Revealing the shocking incidents in which rebels even kill Sunnis, he went on to say that “Syria is not a place for the squeamish. “

The West and the Syrian opposition accuse the government of killing the protesters.

Damascus, however, blames ''outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups'' for the unrest, insisting that it is being orchestrated from abroad.

Allegations of the Queen`s fortune from drug trafficking...not at all entirely surprising if true

Britain’s financial regulator has fined the British queen’s bank for money laundering failures as a French presidential candidate has said part of the queen’s fortune “comes from drug trafficking.”

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has fined the British queen’s bank, Coutts Bank, 8.75 million pounds for failing to carry out correct checks on “politically exposed persons” and prevent money laundering.

“The failings at Coutts were serious, systemic and were allowed to persist for almost three years. They resulted in an unacceptable risk of Coutts handling the proceeds of crime,” the FSA said in a statement posted on its official website.

The news comes less than a week after a fringe candidate for April’s French presidential election said the British queen owed her fortune to drugs money laundered by “Jewish bankers in The City.”

On 21 March, Jacques Cheminade, an independent presidential candidate running in the French election, said, “a part of the fortune of the Queen of England comes from drug trafficking.”

“No, not any property, there are several other sources. But it is a series of trafficking in which, yes, there is trafficking drugs,” Cheminade said on television LCP French National Assembly.

Known as the British queen’s banker, Coutts was criticised for “significant, widespread and unacceptable” failures, as described by Tracey McDermott, acting director of enforcement and financial crime.

“The size of the financial penalty demonstrates how seriously we view its failures,” McDermott said.

Conduct of Hypocrisy in Islam

Mu'adh ibn Jabal related that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:
         "In the last days, there will be people who are brothers in public but enemies in secret."
He was asked how this would happen, and he applied:
         "Because they will have ulterior motives in their dealings with each other and at the same will 
         fear another." (Ahmad)

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr related Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:

         "There are 4 things which, if present in a person, show him to be a complete hypocrite, if someone has one of them he has one part of hypocrisy until he gets rid of it. These are: When he is entrusted with something, he cheats; when he talks, he lies; when he makes promises, he breaks them; and when he argues, he insults." (Bukhari, Muslim)

Ammar Ibn Yasir reported that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:

         "Whoever is double faced in this world, and talks to different persons in differing tones, will 

         have two tongues of fire in his mouth on the Day of Judgement." (Abu Daw'ud)

'Umar ibn Khattab related that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:

         "What I fear for my people is every hypocrite who talks wisely and acts unjustly." (Baihaqi)

Abu Hurairah reported that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:

         "The worst person on the Day of Judgement will be the one who has a double face. He goes 

         to one with one face and to the other with another face." (Bukhari, Muslim)
