Don`t forget the Akhirah, the Hereafter

" Plan Your Akhirah Carefully You Are Going To Spend Your Life There, This Is Temporary So Treat It Justly "
Subhanallah, remember my Imaam saying, when we buy houses, or move into our new homes for the 1st time, we decorate it with soooo much junk, new sofa, sofa being bigger than the actual room! 3D TV's costing over 1k, decorating the house as if, "we are going to live here forever", and we all know this is not possible however much we like the house we live in, our (temp) HOME is the grave. He remiinded us that why we dont "decorate" our graves like this? Make it a place of bliss and comfort, decorate it with whatever you wish coz [sic] you will spend your life there (not in the grave but for some time you will) then inshaa'Allah decorate your jannah with Many Palaces and Many Trees. (Palaces made out of Gold, Silver, Diamonds and Rubies, Trees soo big that if you travel for 100years on a hourse you still will be under the shade of the same tree! SUBHANALLAH!)
We should all take into account this naseeha as we all love decorating our homes, but why not decorate our akhirah also?
Plant a tree each time you say Subhanallah, or Get a palace for praying all the 12 Sunnah rakah's in one day :)
Its that Simple! Subhanallah!
May Allah Give us the tawfeeek to focus on our akhirah than this temp dunya! Ameen !

'I am the Dunya THE LIFE!!' - A beautiful short story
Posted by:
I Luv Holy Quran
A boy said to his father: "I saw a girl and I want to marry her. She is so beautiful and she has gorgeous eyes. The father answered his son: of course son, let’s ask for her hand in marriage."
When the father saw the girl, he admired her beauty and he told his son: "You don’t deserve this girl, she needs someone who has experience in life and she can depend on, someone like me."
The boy was surprised by the attitude of his father and he told him : "She will marry me, not you”. They started to fight and finally they decided both to go to the police station to solve their problem.
When they tell their story to the police officer, he told them:”bring the girl so we can ask her about her opinion about this. " When the officer saw the beauty of the girl he said to the boy and his father:”you both don’t deserve her, she needs someone who has prestige like me.”
The 3 men started a fight and decided to go to the minister to solve their problem. When the minister saw the girl, he said: "She deserves to be married with a minister like me”. The prince heard about their problem and call them all to help them solve it but and when he saw the girl he said : "This girl will marry me” .
All the 5 men started to fight. Finally, the girl said “I have the solution! I will start to run and whoever catches me first, he will be my husband”. When she started to run, the boy, his father, the police officer, the minister and the prince started to run to catch her. Suddenly the 5 men fell into a deep hole.
The girl looked to them from the top and she said “did you know who am I?”
I am the Dunya THE LIFE!!
People want to run to catch me, they are racing to have me.
By doing that, they forget their religion, until they end up in their grave and won’t have me....

That which will happen to the believers in the grave...
This is dedicated to the fallen souls in my family, especially the most recent - Firoz Akhter & Shahidul Islam Molla
Posted by:
The Prophet of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "When a deceased person is laid in his grave, he hears the sound of the footsteps of people as they go away. If he is a believer, the prayer will stand by his head, the fasting will be to his right, alms to his left, and all other good deeds of charity, kindness to relations, and good behavior will be by his feet." [Ahmad]
Then two fearsome, dread-inspiring angels, called Munkar and Nakeer, visit the soul to ask it about its religion, God, and prophet. The believing soul sits upright in its grave as Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) grants it the strength to answer the angels with full faith and certainty.
Munkar and Nakeer: “What is your religion?”
Believing soul: “Islam.”
Munkar and Nakeer: “Who is your Lord?”
Believing soul: “Allah.”
Munkar and Nakeer: “Who is your Prophet?” (or “What do you say about this man?”)
Believing soul: “Muhammad.”
Munkar and Nakeer: “How did you come to know these things?”
Believing soul: “I read the Book of Allah (i.e. the Quran) and I believed it.”
Then, when the soul passes the test, a voice from the heavens will call out: “My slave has spoken the truth, supply him with furnishings from Paradise, clothe him from Paradise, and open a gate for him to Paradise.” The believer’s grave is made roomy and spacious and filled with light. He is shown what would have been his abode in Hell - had he been a wicked sinner - before a portal is opened for him every morning and evening showing him his actual home in Paradise. Excited and full of joyful anticipation, the believer will keep asking: ‘When will the Hour (of Resurrection) come?! When will the Hour come?!’ until he is told to calm down. [Tirmidhi]

You Will Die The Way You Lived - Sheikh Ahmad Ali
Do not be deceived by this dunya (this life), the last laugh will be with none other than the Lord of the Arsh and Kursi (Throne and Footstool). The last laugh will be with none other than the Lord of the Arsh and Kursi, because Rasulullah (peace be upon him) said 'You do as you please but remember, you will die the way you lived! You will die just like you lived, and you will be resurrected on the Day of Judgement just like you died."
Just as it is hoped that Allah (SWT) will honor the individual who gives preference to the akhirah (afterlife) over the dunya (this world), it is feared one who gives preference to the dunya over the akhirah and rejects the teachings of Allah and His prophet (Muhammad, SAW), and neglects his obligation to Allah and His prophet (Muhammad SAW), it is feared that Allah will disgrace him at the time of death. Allah will disgrace him at the time of death!

The dangers of the grave and boastfully laughing...(hadith)
Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (radyAllahu`anhu) said, “He who enters the grave without any provisions is as though he wishes to sail the sea without a ship.” An ascetic once said, “The one who sins while laughing, Allaah will make him enter the Fire while crying. And the one who obeys while crying (out of fear of Allaah) Allaah will make him enter Paradise while laughing.”
