Ex-NBA star Dennis Rodman says North Korean leader Kim Jong Un doesn't want war with the United States. He just wants President Barack Obama to call him.

Rodman, the highest-profile American to meet Kim since Kim took power in December 2011, says Obama and Kim share a love of basketball, so 'let's start there.'

Rodman is just back from a visit to North Korea with the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team and camera crews for the upcoming HBO series 'VICE,' during which he spent two days with Kim.

In his first interview about the trip, he spoke on ABC's 'This Week.'

'He wants Obama to do one thing: Call him,' Rodman told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. 'He said, ‘If you can, Dennis – I don’t want [to] do war. I don’t want to do war.’ He said that to me.'
The trip took place amid strained ties between the U.S. and North Korea over the North's recent underground nuclear test.

Kim is regarded as one of the world's most oppressive leaders in a nation that builds prison camps and lets millions of its citizens starve to death.

In stark contrast to the poverty of his citizens, Kim welcomed the group with a feast, ice skating, and an aquarium visit.

Upon returning, Rodman shocked many by praising Kim.  'I love him,' he said. 'He's awesome.'

He stood by the controversial statement during his ABC interview.

'No, I’m not apologiz[ing] for him,' Rodman said. 'You know, he’s a good guy to me. Guess what? He’s my friend. I don’t condone what he does … [but] as a person to person – he’s my friend.'

Rodman is the first widely-known American to meet with Kim since he became head of North Korea, succeeding his Kim Jong-II, who died in 2011.

He has followed in his father's footsteps, defying U.N. sanctions by pursing a nuclear arms and missiles program he says is aimed at the U.S.

Kim also shared a love of basketball with his father, and is particularly fond of the 1990s Chicago Bulls championship teams, which included Rodman.

On his trip the two watched an exhibition game between the Globetrotters and North Korean players, with Rodman telling Kim before the crowd, 'You have a friend for life.'

'I'm not a politician,' Rodman wrote on Twitter. 'Kim Jung Un & North Korean people are basketball fans. love everyone. Period. End of story.'

The U.S. State Department has distanced itself from the visit and will not debrief Rodman on the meeting.

The decision not to talk to Rodman has been characterized as 'ridiculous' by some intelligence experts.

'There is nobody at the CIA who can tell you more personally about Kim Jong Un than Dennis Rodman, and that in itself is scary,' said Steve Ganyard, a former deputy assistant secretary of state.

Rodman expects to return to North Korea.

'I'm not like a diplomat,' he said. 'I'm [going to] go back, do one thing and find out more, what’s going on. Find out more.'

US President Barack Obama quietly signed his name to an Executive Order on Friday, allowing the White House to control all private communications in the country in the name of national security.

President Obama released his latest Executive Order on Friday, July 6, a 2,205-word statement offered as the “Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions.” And although the president chose not to commemorate the signing with much fanfare, the powers he provides to himself and the federal government under the latest order are among the most far-reaching yet of any of his executive decisions.

“The Federal Government must have the ability to communicate at all times and under all circumstances to carry out its most critical and time sensitive missions,” the president begins the order. “Survivable, resilient, enduring and effective communications, both domestic and international, are essential to enable the executive branch to communicate within itself and with: the legislative and judicial branches; State, local, territorial and tribal governments; private sector entities; and the public, allies and other nations.”

President Obama adds that it is necessary for the government to be able to reach anyone in the country during situations it considers critical, writing, “Such communications must be possible under all circumstances to ensure national security, effectively manage emergencies and improve national resilience.” Later the president explains that such could be done by establishing a “joint industry-Government center that is capable of assisting in the initiation, coordination, restoration and reconstitution of NS/EP [national security and emergency preparedness] communications services or facilities under all conditions of emerging threats, crisis or emergency.”

“The views of all levels of government, the private and nonprofit sectors, and the public must inform the development of NS/EP communications policies, programs and capabilities,” he adds.

On the government’s official website for the National Communications Systems, the government explains that that “infrastructure includes wireline, wireless, satellite, cable, and broadcasting, and provides the transport networks that support the Internet and other key information systems,” suggesting that the president has indeed effectively just allowed himself to control the country’s Internet access.

In order to allow the White House to reach anyone within the US, the president has put forth a plan to establish a high-level committee calling from agents with the Department of Homeland Security, Pentagon, Federal Communications Commission and other government divisions to ensure that his new executive order can be implemented.

In explaining the order, the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) writes that the president has authorized the DHS "the authority to seize private facilities when necessary, effectively shutting down or limiting civilian communications."

In Section 5 of his order, President Obama outlines the specific department and agency responsibilities that will see through his demands. In a few paragraphs, President Obama explains that Executive Committee that will oversee his order must be supplied with “the technical support necessary to develop and maintain plans adequate to provide for the security and protection of NS/EP communications,” and that that same body will be in tasked with dispatching that communiqué “to the Federal Government and State, local, territorial and trial governments,” by means of “commercial, Government and privately owned communications resources.”

Later, the president announces that the Department of Homeland Security will be tasked with drafting a plan during the next 60 days to explain how the DHS will command the government’s Emergency Telecommunications Service, as well as other telecom conduits. In order to be able to spread the White House’s message across the country, President Obama also asks for the purchasing of equipment and services that will enable such.

There was a time when the Secret Service represented the best of the best, dependable men beyond reproach and most importantly, they were incorruptible. They were those chaps who would do anything in order to keep their country safe. In short, they were America’s finest.
Oh, how times have changed.

As President Obama and his royal entourage touched down in Cartagena, Colombia for the Summit of the Americas on Friday afternoon, it seems that his elite security detail had other pressing matters on their minds – namely, getting busy sampling some of the local South American delicacies.

It was billed in the press as an important trip – a meeting with over 30 South American leaders to discuss the globalists’ plans forthe coming decade. This latest White House holiday junket counted in its imperial entourage Hillary Clinton and favored Romney running mate Marco Rubio, along with other high-ranking member’s of the President’s court, and a security detail which included scores of Secret Service agents and dozens of logistics personnel.

Unable to control their manic hormonal urges, a number of the President’s elite Secret Service detail thought it prudent to coordinate some special recreational reconisance missions, on US taxpayers time. According the initial reports last night, a dozen agents – including a number of married ones, have been sent packing we are told, this time for “soliciting prostitution”, a practice considered inappropriate for Secret Service agents, charged with guarding America’s heads of state.

It’s not clear yet whether or not the agents made trips to one of Cartegna’s infamous ‘red light’ districts, or that the Secret Service had organized their staff party at the same venue as US diplomats. It still remains unclear at this point which venue the alleged indiscretions took place, and who actually paid for the Colombian hookers.

If there were hookers involved, could the agents also have partaken in Columbia’s other bountiful national delicacy, or to put it figuratively, “hitting the slopes in April”? Apparently, prostitution is tolerated by the Colombian authorities, not least because of the steady service they provide to the city’s numerous white-collar administrators. And it’s no secret that the nation’s other the multi-billion dollar a year export and trafficking industry, cociane, is also tolerated.

Regardless of the details, one could summarize that this latest scandal indicates a culture of excess, and a void of ethics which looks to have infected Washington’s most elite corps of guardians – a breach in behavioral standards that could ulimately compromise national security.

According initial reports from the Washington Post:

    “Edwin Donovan, an agency spokesman, said that an unspecified number of agents have 
    been recalled and replaced with others, stressing that Obama’s security has not been 
    compromised because of the change.”

The Democrat Party faithful will also be painfully aware how this unprecedented international lapse in ethics and judgement will forever be a black mark on the administration, and no doubt will fuel endless jokes at the expense of the White House – one of the worst possible foreign incidents to happen in an election year.

Most importantly however, readers should realize how dangerous and how compromized the nation’s security is when the President’s own elite body guards are mixing with, and exchanging money for services with sex workers in a poor third world country.

What’s even worse than all this, however, is that it probably won’t even shock most Americans.

Such are the strange and disturbing times we live in.

A dozen Secret Service agents sent to Colombia to provide security for President Barack Obama at an international summit were relieved of duty and returned home amid allegations of misconduct that involved prostitution, according to multiple reports.

A caller who said he had knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press the misconduct involved prostitutes in Cartagena, site of the Summit of the Americas. A Secret Service spokesman did not dispute that.

"One of the agents did not pay one of the prostitutes, and she complained to the police," Ronald Kessler, a former Washington Post reporter and author of "In the President's Secret Service: Behind the Scenes With Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect" told CNN.

The Washington Post, which was the first to report the story, said Kessler alerted them to the situation.

Kessler told the Washington Post that while soliciting prostitutes is legal in Colombia within designated "tolerance zones," it's considered inappropriate by the Secret Service. Several of the agents involved are married, Kessler also told the DC paper.

In Washington, Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan would not confirm that prostitution was involved, saying only that there had been "allegations of misconduct" made against Secret Service personnel in Cartagena for the summit...

Only a few days earlier, many a constitutional scholar were left with their jaws dropped down near their ankles, following Obama’s White House lawn speech, where he dismissed the US Supreme Court, as an “Unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constitutional and passed law”, referring to their ability to overturn Obamacare legislation as unconstitutional.

New Version of American Flag Bearing the Face of President Obama Hangs in New Jersey

A CBS News affiliate in Philadelphia reported on an incident this week, where a local South Jersey resident has been flying the stars and stripes – only there are no the stars representing the 50 states. In their place was the emblazoned image of Barack Obama.

Residents complained that this new ’Obama Stripes’ version of the American Flag violates the United States official flag code.

One elderly resident appeared to be visibly shaken for fear she would be branded as a ‘racist’ for showing her disapproval of the Obama Stripes. She explains, “I don’t want to be called a racist because I object to an American flag where the stars are removed – to put a face. I don’t care if it’s a can of peas, it doesn’t belong on my American Flag.”



This has come a month after a similar event took place in Florida, where the Obama Stripes were seen hanging outside of the Lake County Democrat Party office. This apparently sent one Korean war veteran, Don Van Beck’s blood boiling.

WFTV Channel 9 interviewed Van Beck who explained, “I can’t describe how upset I was because you just don’t do that to the American flag,” Van Beck said.

Marine Corps vet John Masterjohn was seeing red, stating, “Joseph Stalin, pictures of Mao, pictures of Adolph Hitler. The pomp, the ceremony – the flags like that”.

Indeed, Masterjohn has a valid point. The soviet-style agitprop art which was the hallmark of Obama’s 2008 election craze, and undoubtedly helped to propell him into a ‘cult of personality’ – seemed to die off in the last and a half. But as the election year rolls forward in 2012, these two incidents may only be scratching the surface of what American can expect in terms of Obama’s iconic-agitprop imagery over the next 8 months.

History shows however, that whenever societies are lured into a cult of personality-led government, a rapid slide into tryanny almost always ensues...

U.S. President Barack Obama has recently passed a message to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Washington Post reported on Friday, which signaled that the United States would agree to an Iranian civilian nuclear program if they proved they were not developing a nuclear bomb.

According to David Ignatius, the Washington Post's senior columnist specializing in intelligence matters, Obama passed Khamenei the message through Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who visited Tehran this week.

Obama reportedly signaled Khamenei that the U.S. would be prepared to accept a civilian nuclear program in Iran, should the Iranian leader take steps that would support his public declarations in February, in which he said that Iran "would never develop nuclear weapons." The U.S., Obama also wrote, would also expect Iranian leaders to prove that Tehran does not have a military nuclear program.

Obama met with Erdogan at the nuclear summit in South Korea for two hours and asked him to pass on the message to Khamenei. Obama told Erdogan that the Iranians must understand that time is running out on a solution for the Tehran nuclear problem and that they must take advantage of the negotiations that will begin with the six world powers on April 13.

According to Ignatius, Obama did not give details as to whether Iran would be allowed to continue enriching uranium on its soil while developing its civilian nuclear program.

Erdogan told Obama that he will transfer the message, and the U.S. administration believes that he did so during the meeting he held with Khamenei in Tehran this week.

Since Obama entered the White House, an alliance was formed between him and Erdogan. The Turkish prime minister is the Muslim leader that is most closely associated with the U.S. president.

Negotiations between Iran and the six world powers are due to begin on April 13, but a location has yet been scheduled.

A retired U.S. Postal Service carrier who delivered mail to Tom and Mary Ayers in a Chicago suburb in the late 1980s and early 1990s and claims to have met Obama in front of the Ayers home emphatically says yes to all three questions.

Allen Hulton, who was commended for 39 years of honorable service with the USPS, has given a sworn affidavit to investigators commissioned by Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio to determine whether Obama is eligible for Arizona’s 2012 election ballot. Hulton has recorded about three hours of video interviews with WND.

Hulton says that in conversations with Mary Ayers while on his route he learned of the couple’s enthusiasm and support for a black foreign student. One bright, warm Chicagoland day, he recounts, he met the student who fit Mary Ayers’ description in front of the Ayers home in Glen Ellyn, Ill. That young man, Hulton is convinced, was Barack Obama.

Imagine the potential catastrophic consequences, especially if nuclear weapons are used. They were before. Why not now. The prospect’s chilling.

In his Der Ring des Nibelungen operas (the Ring), Richard Wagner portrayed his apocalyptic version musically. Gotterdammerung (Twilight of the Gods) prophesied the end of the world.
Einstein suggested it, saying he didn’t know what WW III weapons would be used, “but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”

Around the same time, Bertrand Russell warned:
“Shall we put an end to the human race, or shall mankind renounce war” and live in peace. The stark choice is clear. The wrong one suggests consequences too grim to imagine.

It’s terrifying to imagine nuclear bunker-buster bombs used against underground targets. Whatever the physical damage, irradiating vast areas could kill millions, and set a precedent to keep using them like king-sized hand grenades.

A 13,600-kilogram bunker-buster’s being developed. Called “the massive ordnance penetrator,” allegedly it can smash through 65 meters of reinforced concrete before detonating.
Defense Secretary Panetta said work on an array of military options are being considered if sanctions don’t curb Iran’s nuclear program. He added they’ve been underway “a long time,” and Washington’s “weighing all of the ramifications of how best to deal with Iran.”

Journalist Alison Weir says that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is a threat the world, Press TV reports.

“AIPAC is very dangerous because it is working on American foreign policy, and currently it is trying to push the United States into an outright attack on Iran or assisting an attack on Iran by Israel,” the executive director of the US website If Americans Knew said in an exclusive interview with Press TV.

Weir also believes that AIPAC is behind the United States’ decision to impose economic sanctions on Iran.

AIPAC is “a special interest lobby” in the United States, which is working on behalf of a foreign country -- Israel -- and not on behalf of Americans, or on behalf of peace or justice, she stated.

“The American media are extremely Israel-centric in their reports, leaving out a great deal of information that Americans need to know to have rational successful policies, which results in the ignorance of the American public about the Israeli lobby,” Weir said, adding that most US citizens do not even know what the Israeli lobby is.

AIPAC is the one of the most powerful lobbies in the United States. It works to influence US foreign and domestic policy for the interest of Israel.

Only days after clearing Congress, US President Barack Obama signed his name to H.R. 347 on Thursday, officially making it a federal offense to cause a disturbance at certain political events — essentially criminalizing protest in the States.

RT broke the news last month that H.R. 347, the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011, had overwhelmingly passed the US House of Representatives after only three lawmakers voted against it. On Thursday this week, President Obama inked his name to the legislation and authorized the government to start enforcing a law that has many Americans concerned over how the bill could bury the rights to assemble and protest as guaranteed in the US Constitution.

Under H.R. 347, which has more commonly been labeled the Trespass Bill by Congress, knowingly entering a restricted area that is under the jurisdiction of Secret Service protection can garner an arrest. The law is actually only a slight change to earlier legislation that made it an offense to knowingly and willfully commit such a crime. Under the Trespass Bill’s latest language chance, however, someone could end up in law enforcement custody for entering an area that they don’t realize is Secret Service protected and “engages in disorderly or disruptive conduct” or “impede[s] or disrupt[s] the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions.”

The Secret Service serves as the police that protects not just current and former American presidents, but are also dispatched to monitor special events of national significance, a category with a broad cast of qualifiers. In the past, sporting events, state funerals, inaugural addresses and NATO and G-8 Summits have been designated as such by the US Department of Homeland Security, the division that decides when and where the Secret Service are needed outside of their normal coverage.

Mara Verheyden-Hilliard of the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund tells the International Business Times that the Trespass Bill in its current form “means it's easier to prosecute under 'knowingly,'” instead of both knowingly and willfully, “which is an issue because someone could knowingly enter a restricted but not necessarily realize they are committing a crime.” Speaking with IB Times, Verheyden-Hilliard tries to lay to rest claims that the Constitution will be crippled by the Trespass Bill, but acknowledges that it does indeed allow law enforcement to have added incentive to arrest protesters who could be causing a disturbance.

"[HR 347] has been described as a death knell for the First Amendment, but that isn't supported by the facts," Verheyden-Hilliard adds. "This has always been a bad law."
Gabe Rottman of the American Civil Liberties Union adds to IB Times, "Bottom line, it doesn't create any new violations of the law.” So far, however, it has raised awareness of the levels that the US government are willing to go to in order to make it harder to express ones’ self.

Under the act, protesting in areas covered by Secret Service could land a demonstrator behind bars, and the thing about the Secret Service (in case you couldn’t tell by their name), is that they don’t always make it clear where they are. You could even say that the service they provide, at times, is kept secret.

Presidential hopefuls Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are now officially covered under Secret Service protection, making it a federal offense to disrupt a campaign stop. That means whether it’s by way of a glitter bomb protest or causing a disturbance on the same Holiday Inn hotel floor that Santorum is staying in, doing such could cause a bit of a legal battle for the persons involved.

Although the G-8 Summit originally scheduled for Chicago this spring would have made much of the Windy City a protected area where crimes could easily be tacked on to arrested protesters, the event was moved this week to the presidential retreat at Camp David. In turn, many have suggested that the White House is only going out of their way to limit protesting rights. While a Chicago summit would have meant the Trespass Bill could have been enforced in the same area where thousands of demonstrators were expected to protest, moving the event to a heavily fortified rural location will instead deter protesters from likely coming too close to the meeting at all.

And before you forget, the president can now detain you for getting too close to his front yard, order your assassination if the country considers you a threat and lock you away for life with no charge if you’re alleged to be a terrorist. You, on the other hand, can’t yell obscenities at Newt Gingrich without risking arrest.

The footage that Andrew Breitbart planned to release just hours after his untimely death would have proven hugely damaging to President Obama’s re-election hopes, because it shows Obama fraternizing with Weather Underground terrorists whose goal it was to set up a Communist dictatorship inside the United States.



According to former FBI agent Larry Grathwohl, who was assigned to infiltrate the Weather Underground’s Central Committee, the organization run by Bill Ayers carried out bombings targeting the Pentagon, the State Department, as well as police stations and federal buildings, in an attempt to cause the United States government to collapse and open the door for Cuban, North Vietnamese, Chinese and Russian troops to occupy the country.

It took LA a week to declare the cause of death for Whitney Houston but they knew two hours after Andrew Breitbart’s death that it was natural and they told the world as fast as they could. Andrew said he would release footage that would hurt Obama and now the alternative media gadfly is dead. It goes on and on and if that film does not get released in full I call it shenanigans.

PHOENIX — Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Thursday he suspects the birth certificate President Obama released last year is a “computer-generated forgery” — and also raised questions about the authenticity of the president’s Selective Service card.

“Based on all of the evidence presented and investigated, I cannot in good faith report to you that these documents are authentic,” Sheriff Arpaio said. “My investigators believe that the long-form birth certificate was manufactured electronically and that it did not originate in paper format as claimed by the White House.”

Questions over Mr. Obama’s birth certificate have been a political sideshow for the last four years, and have persisted despite repeated denials by the White House, and despite the release of evidence he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Aug. 4, 1961. That evidence included both a certificate of live birth released during the 2008 campaign and the long-form certificate last year.

Fact-check organizations have concluded the certificates are authentic, and Mr. Obama has joked about those who questioned his birth. At last year’s White House Correspondents Association Dinner, soon after releasing his long-form certificate, he mocked Donald Trump, who had said his own investigators were looking into the matter.

Now Sheriff Arpaio, who first built his national profile by creating tent cities for jail inmates and later by taking a tough stance on illegal immigration, could reignite questions among those who continue to believe Mr. Obama was born outside the U.S., and therefore is ineligible to be president under the Constitution’s provision that the officeholder be a natural-born citizen.

Sheriff Arpaio said at least two crimes could have been committed in his view through the forgery. He repeatedly said he is not questioning whether Mr. Obama was born in the U.S., but instead is challenging the authenticity of the documents themselves.

He released a 10-page report detailing what his investigators said were “inconsistencies” in the text characters of the birth certificate image the White House released, and also questioned details of the computer file itself.

Some of those claims had earlier been raised on the Internet as well, and both the White House and independent fact-checkers have dismissed those questions, saying the computer file is consistent with the version of events the White House has detailed.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

It released the long-form certificate last year after repeated questions were raised by conservative activists and conspiracy-theory websites questioning the authenticity of the short-form certificate Mr. Obama released during the 2008 campaign.

The Justice Department has accused Sheriff Arpaio of civil rights abuses within his department, but he said he began his investigation before that — in August 2011, after tea party members from Surprise, Ariz., a town within Maricopa County, signed a petition challenging the certificate.

Sheriff Arpaio detailed former law enforcement officers who constitute what he called his “cold case posse” to do the investigation. He said no taxpayer dollars were spent.

He was joined in his press conference by Jerome Corsi, an author who has been critical of Mr. Obama. He was also one of those who took a critical look at Sen. John Kerry’s military service during his 2004 presidential bid.

Mr. Corsi made headlines when he traveled to Kenya, saying he wanted to track down where he thought Mr. Obama was really born.

Sheriff Arpaio said he went into the investigation with an open mind, and would have been happy to clear Mr. Obama.

His investigators said the computer file released by the White House appears to have been created on a computer, rather than having been originally made on paper and then scanned.

The investigators said they have identified “a person of interest” in the birth certificate.

Sheriff Arpaio’s chief investigator on the project said there are so many questions that he couldn’t have cleared Mr. Obama to be an employee of Maricopa County.

Pursuing questions over the birth certificate has been a thorny issue for the GOP. State lawmakers in several places, including Arizona, have pursued laws that would have imposed checks on any presidential candidate’s qualifications to get on their state ballots.

One such proposal in Arizona, which became known as the “birther” bill, was vetoed by Gov. Jan Brewer last year.
