Bloomberg and Qatar Central Bank Launch Interbank Rate … QIBOR will enhance transparency and promote liquidity … Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and Bloomberg LP are partnering to launch the first ever Qatar Interbank Offer Rate (QIBOR) fixings in a move aimed at encouraging a more active interbank market in Qatar, executives announced today … HE Sheikh Abdulla Saoud Al Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank, commented, “In establishing the first-ever benchmark interbank rate in Qatar it was vital that we worked with a partner with deep expertise and credibility in this area. Here we go again. Just when we thought little Qatar couldn’t grow any mightier, the country’s financial officials are going to help establish an Interbank Offer Rate for the world’s top banks (QIBOR).

Qatar will be helped in this process by the powerful, elitist, financial media firm “Bloomberg LP,” run by its eponymous owner and Mayor of New York … Michael Bloomberg.

How big is the market? Estimates range up to US$90 trillion! (That’s the amount of money that QIBOR can affect.)

This is a market that’s ripe for the plucking, given the controversy around the London bank rate (LIBOR). The LIBOR market has been hit by allegations that bank rates were not estimated honestly but were essentially “fixed” in a way that allowed participants to solicit speculative offers against them – that might then lose those speculators money.

Little Tyke to Mighty Player

The planned QIBOR is just one more sign of Qatar’s growing influence in the Middle East. Here are some others:

• Sources say that Qatar’s small but highly-supplied and Westernized army was instrumental in the Libyan war and that about 5,000 Qatar troops are helping run Libya even now. This is a well-kept secret.

• Qatar’s Al Jazeera news station is as ubiquitous in the Middle East as CNN is in the US, Europe and South America. In fact, the two media firms function in tandem – spreading Western propaganda with skill and finesse.

• Qatar is an essential ally of NATO and the US when it comes to a huge military base situated there that the US used to launch its second invasion into Iraq.

• Qatar recently won the right to host the 2022 World Cup and is using the situation to raise its profile as sports-center within both the Middle East and Europe.

Additionally, Qatar’s ruling group is oriented around the Saud family’s fundamentalist-Islamic Wahhabism. The rising influence of little Qatar under Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani is partially being managed by a larger, westernized global elite that placed Al Thani on the throne decades ago.

As has been pointed out many times, this global elite is seemingly creating world government via thesis, antithesis … synthesis. The “synthesis” in this case is supposed to be an amalgamation of East (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, etc.) and the West.

But before the synthesis can take place, opposites must be established. That’s what is still going on now. Via war to destabilize the Middle East’s secular governments, the elites are creating an Islamic crescent out of Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, etc.

These same elites are using little Qatar as a base to expand a worldwide Islamic presence. They are in a sense bankrolling Islam to turn it into a true modern force.

Once a (controlled) Islam is regnant, as it used to be, Western elites will likely force a synthesis out of the two opposing religious forces (east and west) that will change the face of finance globally.

The goal seems to be to make a world economy far more viable for the billions of Muslims who have no such expectations or ambitions currently.

Little Qatar has apparently emerged at the center of the world-spanning globalist conspiracy!
The evidence is becoming increasingly clear. Qatar’s amalgamam of wicked (Western sponsored) Wahhabism plus the noxious emergent brew of international sports, high finance and faux Middle Eastern journalism all put it at the foul center of this larger elite strategy.
Qatar’s little-known role as a facilitator of Libya’s recent military evisceration plus its evident position at the center of the projection of NATO and US military power make it a country to watch closely.

Now the powers-that-be are busy turning it into a financial center as well. This was to be the role of the Arab Emirates, especially Dubai – but these rulers have not proven effective, at least not yet.

Enter Qatar – or rather, re-enter Qatar with an even higher profile, one that bears watching for those who are convinced that world government is being planned and that a Westernized Middle East is key to the furtherance of this insatiable ambition.

A final thought: Nothing likely happens by accident when it comes to these global elites. If LIBOR is under attack, it is not merely a coincidence but a way of destroying LIBOR in order to transfer the facility to the Middle East.

Criminal indictments are produced … directed history is manifest. Believable? One could argue that Rupert Murdoch’s media empire is being deliberately taken apart for similar reasons.

The global elite’s religious wars are heating up and little countries like Ireland and the Middle East’s Qatar are at the center of it. This is part of a larger strategy, it would seem, to help speed the implementation of world government.

There seems no doubt that the elites that apparently want to run the world continue to exploit every kind of difference between people and cultures that they can.

Starting after 9/11, modern religious wars have become even more pervasive. Afghanistan and Iraq have come into the line of fire for a decade now. And Middle East secular regimes have been taken down with dizzying speed recently.

This is obvious for anyone who wants to look. The powers-that-be are apparently building an Islamic arc in the Middle East and Africa via the installation of various radical-to-moderate Islamic regimes in such places as Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, and Libya, to mention a few. The idea seems to be to create various religious and political blocs that can then be exploited for purposes of propaganda.

The elites always work this way, via divide-and-conquer. They are using thesis, antithesis, and synthesis to build a global world order that will feature both East and West. Religion is the anvil and war is the hammer.

Is a special strategy to be employed? Once Barack Obama is re-elected, if he is, the US President (with more “latitude”) might well emerge as a peace-maker between East and West. He will cement his manipulated legacy and the world will take another step toward a dangerous global unification.

The program seems obviously deliberate. Even Syria is on the firing line. Vladimir Putin has objected to the global elite’s takeover of Syria but chances are that after the election, Putin will withdraw his veto and the Assads will fall. Syria, too, may become an Islamic state.

Enter Qatar

But what is most intriguing among these manipulations is the role that the Arab Emirates and countries like Qatar continue to play. These small countries are easily manipulated and have seemingly become the center of a strategy intended to combine East and West.

Little Qatar is the founder of the major Arab wire service Al Jazeera. Qatar is surely a well-fitted cog in the global elites’ mechanism, or so it would seem. Its Emir was put in place by the US; in fact, the US initially attacked Iraq from a huge military base there.

Al Jazeera, the news service, is a kind of Arab CNN. It is not a genuine artifact. Instead, it seems aimed at indoctrinating Islam with an Islamic/Western admixture of monetary paradigms (central banking, debt, etc.) and generally the warfare/welfare state.

Qatar, like Bahrain and other small countries in the Middle East are laboratories of an East/West amalgamation. The tools used in this cultural mix ‘em up are actually anything and everything that comes to hand, including sports...

Qatar, the richest nation on earth, is also the fattest with half of all adults obese and 17 per cent of the population suffering from diabetes.

By comparison America, which is often assumed to be the fattest, looks positively slim with a third of adults obese and eight per cent diabetic.

Out of a population of 1.7million, just 250,000 are native Qataris, who, in the space of just two generations have switched from a tribal existence to living in air conditioned villas being waited on by armies of servants.

Qataris are developing diabetes a decade younger than average, which, in turn, is pushing up rates of illnesses like hypertension, partial paralysis, heart disease, and blindness.

The tiny Arab state, with its vast supplies of oil and natural gas, became the richest nation in the world last year as measured by per capita gross domestic product.

In recent years Qataris have developed a love of fast food with branches of KFC and McDonald's springing up in the many air conditioned malls.
Hassan Tiaz, 19, told Atlantic magazine: It's because in Qatar we just sit, smoke and eat junk food.

'There's not too much work. Everything is automatic and most of us just sit in air-conditioned offices and cars. Everything is done for us.'

The nation also suffers from a high rate of birth defects and genetic disorders - which experts put down to the custom of inter-marriage between close family members and cousins.

Sharoud Al-Jundi Matthis, the program manager at the Qatar Diabetes Association, said: 'It's a very, very serious problem facing the future of Qatar.

'They're concentrating the gene pool, and at the same time, they're facing rapid affluence.

Adel Al-Sharshani, 39, who was diagnosed with diabetes several years ago, said: 'Everybody in Qatar knows about diabetes, but the problem is, it's talking only. No one is taking care of it.
'I ignored all the advice until it was too late, and that is what other people are doing too. It's dangerous

'I am afraid of losing my eyes, my foot. I am afraid of losing my life.'

The Qatari government is desperately trying to tackle the problem by launching campaigns to encourage healthy eating and exercise.

Maher Safi, marketing director at the Qatar Olympic Committee, explained: 'Our main focus is encouraging people to be active, getting them to lead healthy lifestyles -- that's our vision.'
'In the past few years, the committee has launched public programs administering free body-mass indexes and sugar level tests, disseminated material about healthy eating, and introduced initiatives to schools to help children learn about new sports, like handball, tennis, and bicycling.
