For Muslims: Should we celebrate the New Year?

Celebrating the New Year? Not for Muslims!

January is named after Janus, the Roman god of doors and gateways. He was commonly depicted in statues, carvings and paintings as a two headed man with one head facing forward and the other head facing backwards.

In 46BC Julius Caesar chose January 1st as the first day of the New Year as Janus symbolically represented the door to the New Year. Wild parties and orgies were held on the night before the New Year’s Day as a re-enactment of the chaos which Roman mythology depicted as preceding the cosmos or the ordered world whose organization was set by the gods. Furthermore, by that time, Janus had become, in practice, the highest god receiving the ritual sacrifices of Roman worshippers before the other gods, including the chief god, Jupiter.
Thus, in its essence the celebrations of the New Year on January 1st and New Year’s Eve, the night before, are a part and parcel of pagan religious rituals based on idolatrous beliefs in false gods. Consequently, it is completely Haraam (sinful and forbidden) for Muslims to participate in or adopt any of its related rituals, customs and symbols.

If a non-Muslim greets a Muslim, “Happy New Year”, the Muslim is not allowed to respond in a similar manner or say, “Same to you.” Instead, in order not to offend or hurt the feelings of non-Muslim friends or acquaintances, one may say instead, “Happy holiday.”

As for celebrating the New Year according to the Islamic calendar which begins with the month of Muharram, this is also not permissible from a number of perspectives. First and foremost, if one does so believing that it is pleasing to Allah to do so, thereby transforming it into an act of worship, it becomes a Bid‘ahor cursed innovation in the religion about which the Prophet (pbuh) said, “Every innovation in religion is misguidance and all misguidance leads to the Hellfire.” If one does so merely as a custom, it is still impermissible as it falls under the prohibition of imitation of pagan customs about which the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever imitates a people becomes one of them.”

[1] Pope Gregory 13th who set the modern calendar, the Gregorian calendar, also officially fixed the first day of the year for Christian Europe as January 1st in 1582.

Value your life and don`t lead it with your emotions

What do you think Hollywood and Bollywood movies are doing to this humanity? How many movies promote ‘marriage’, almost all promote ‘sex outside marriage’ ? Sex is indeed a need of every human being but if you are ignited sexually, you turn into a beast and that is exactly what they want from you! Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said: The worst dependency is the emotional dependency and they control your emotions. Before some years, pornography was illegal in their sight, but now its legal – now child pornography is illegal, tomorrow they will legalize that too. Where do you draw the line, we should have our values of life!

The Truth: So Far from Reality

None of us ever know the whole truth...

When Benjamin Franklin left Independence Hall just after the 2nd drafting during the Constitutional Convention, a woman approached him on the street and asked to what manner of government was bequeathed to the people. He replied "a republic - if you can keep it."

The responsibility of a country is not in the hands of a privileged few. We are strong and free from tyranny as long each of us remembers his/her duty as a citizen - whether its to report a pot hole or lies in a state of the union address - speak out, ask those questions, demand that truth...democracy is not a free-ride. Fair Game (2010 film)

...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and provide new Guards for their future security."
- 11th line, 2nd paragraph of the US Declaration of Independence

"If we don`t believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don`t believe in it at all."

China plans to put astronaut on the moon finally off the ground

image: DailyMail, Reuters

China finally made it official that it intends to land a man on the moon by publishing it on a government 'white paper', which serves as a public government document as well as a blueprint for the next five years.

Chinese scientists have always talked about a manned-lunar mission but now it seems it will be a policy goal of the PRC (People`s Republic of China). The white paper is part of China`s effort to be transparent amid criticism over its intentions and cooperation of their space program. Now the news comes at a time when NASA just retired it`s shuttle fleet & program and left space travel up in the air, China will hope to capture the spotlight and highlight their soaring ambitions in space. This is welcoming news in some part, as the last time an astronaut set foot on the moon was from the Apollo 17 mission in December 1972.

China to note, has made successful gains in space thus far. In 2003, they launched their first "taikonaut", Yang Liwei into space. In their plans for their own space station, they conducted for the first time docking of two unmanned spacecraft last month, hoping to put up a permanent space laboratory by 2016. Only this week, China just launched a trial operation of its own satellite navigation system called Beidou, which will try to end the reliance on U.S. based GPS and bring it closer to matching U.S. space capabilities.

Now, although a manned Chinese mission to the moon is still some time away, after 2020 says some Chinese space experts, it nevertheless finally is made public by the government and an aspiration to a nation and the space community. As Zhang Wei, an official from China`s National Space Administration, said at a briefing, "when looking up at the starry sky, we are full of longing and yearning for the vast universe."

Jesse Ventura Endorses Ron Paul as the Only Anti-war Candidate

Appearing on Alex Jones’ nationally syndicated radio show today, the former governor of Minnesota and best selling author, Jesse Ventura, emphatically declared his support for Ron Paul’s presidential run.

“Ron Paul has Governor Jesse Ventura’s endorsement without a doubt,” he said. “It’s not even close. Because I want a new president that is going to change the direction of this country. I want a new president that is going to follow the Constitution. I want a new president that is going to believe in states’ rights. I want somebody that will shock the status quo.”

...Jesse said that there has not been a president since John F. Kennedy who worked for peace and opposed the endless war policies of the ruling elite. Ron Paul is the first candidate since Kennedy to oppose the perpetual war agenda, he explained.

...If America wants a change in direction, Jesse said, the only choice for president in 2012 is Ron Paul. “He is then only one...

What makes the 'Happy Birthday' happy?

What makes ‘Happy Birthday’ Happy?
Posted by Muslim Faith

MuslimFaith.Wordpress.com

Birthday literary means the day when a person is born. But people don’t celebrate their birthdays just because they reached the same date again of when they were born. Rather what is more important is the month and date both should be same as of the day you was born.

Further, when we celebrate birthday what we actually mean is, we reached the same date and month again, that’s why they celebrate and cut cakes and do all that stuff. But point to be noted is that, it is on our birthdays we announce that we have lived another year – meaning we have crossed another year – meaning we have just lost another year. Remember life is like a chain of pearls, every day, every year your life that you live, you are leaving it behind just like when you drive a vehicle, you leave everything behind and reach your destination.

Then the question arises - if it is on our birthdays that we loose a year of our life, what makes happy birthday – happy?

Allaah (One True God) created human being with an intellect and Qur’aan is for those people who think. No wonder Qur’aan again and again asks you, 'Afalaa tadabbaroon?' – Do you not then ponder? In many places Allaah is asking us in the Glorious Qur’aan as here – 'Afalaa yatadabbaroonal qur’aana am ‘alaa quloobihim aqfaaluhaa?' – "Why don’t you ponder upon Qur’aan, have you hearts and minds been locked?"

Celebrating 'Christmas' in Islam

Are we really loyal to Jesus Christ by celebrating Christmas?
Posted by Muslim Faith on December 24, 2011 in Bible & Christianity
MuslimFaith.Wordpress.com

Christmas official, but not generally observed:
In 325AD, Constantine the Great, the first Christian Roman emperor, introduced Christmas as an immovable feast on 25 December. He also introduced Sunday as a holy day in a new 7-day week, and introduced movable feasts (Easter). In 354AD, Bishop Liberius of Rome officially ordered his members to celebrate the birth of Jesus on 25 December.

However, even though Constantine officiated 25 December as the birthday of Christ, Christians, recognizing the date as a pagan festival, did not share in the emperor’s good meaning. Christmas failed to gain universal recognition among Christians until quite recently. In England, Oliver Cromwell banned Christmas festivities between 1649 and 1660 through the so-called Blue Laws, believing that Christmas should be a solemn day.

When many Protestants escaped persecution by fleeing to the colonies all over the world, interest in joyous Christmas celebrations was rekindled there. Still, Christmas was not even a legal holiday until the 1800s. And, keep in mind, there was no Father Christmas (Santa Claus) figure at that time.

Christmas becomes popular:
The popularity of Christmas was spurred on in 1820 by Washington Irving’s book The Keeping of Christmas at Bracebridge Hall. In 1834, Britain’s Queen Victoria brought her German husband, Prince Albert, into Windsor Castle, introducing the tradition of the Christmas tree and carols that were held in Europe to the British Empire. A week before Christmas in 1834, Charles Dickens published A Christmas Carol (in which he wrote that Scrooge required Cratchit to work, and that the US Congress met on Christmas Day). It was so popular that neither the churches nor the governments could not ignore the importance of Christmas celebrations. In 1836, Alabama became the first state in the US to declare Christmas a legal holiday. In 1837, T.H. Hervey’s The Book of Christmas also became a best seller. In 1860, American illustrator Thomas Nast borrowed from the European stories about Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of children, to create Father Christmas (Santa Claus). In 1907, Oklahoma became the last US state to declare Christmas a legal holiday. Year by year, countries all over the world started to recognize Christmas as the day for celebrating the birth of Jesus.

What Did Jesus Say About Christmas?

The Christmas Experience:
The perfect Christmas tree is bought. Adorned with ornaments and glittering with tinsel, it stands by the window. The stores are crammed with shoppers hunting for presents and the little ones anxiously waiting for Santa. Busy with Christmas fever, wonder did you ever, did the Bible or Jesus made any injunction on Christmas ever? Ponder upon the following analysis on Christmas, and the Truth will become clearer and clearer.

Does Christmas have Biblical Evidence?
The word ‘Christmas’ does not exist in the Bible. The Bible has closed lips on the entire feast of Christmas, with one exception, the decoration of a tree. The Bible itself criticizes the decoration of the (Christmas) trees: “The customs of the people are worthless, they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel, they adore it with silver and gold, they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter” (Jeremiah 10-3,4). European Pre-Christian pagans superstitiously believed that the green trees had special protective powers. In fact the use of the Christmas tree began only in the 17th century in Strasbourg, France and from there it spread to Germany, Britain and then to the U.S. “Tree worship was a common feature of religion among the Teutonic and Scandinavian peoples of northern Europe before their conversion to Christianity…German settlers brought the Christmas tree custom to the American colonies in the 17th century. By the 19th century its use was quite widespread”. (Compton’s Encyclopedia, 1998 Edition)

Jesus (peace be upon him) not God. HE never claimed Divinity:
Al-Qur’an (chapter 5: verse 72)
John (14:28)
John (10:29)
Mathew (12:28)
Luke (11:20)
John (5:30)
Acts (2:21)

The Bible does not support the Christian belief in trinity at all. One of the scribes once asked Jesus (peace be upon him) as to which was the first commandment of all, to which Jesus (pbuh) merely repeated what Moses (pbuh) had said earlier: “Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad.” This is a Hebrew quotation, which means: “Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.” [The Bible, Mark 12:29]

Was Jesus born on Dec. 25?
Neither the date 25th Dec. nor any other date on Jesus’ birth is mentioned in the Bible. It was not until the year 530 C.E. that a monk, Dionysus Exigus, fixed the date of Jesus’ birth on Dec. 25th. . “He wrongly dated the birth of Christ according to the Roman system (i.e., 754 years after the founding of Rome) as Dec. 25, 753″. (Encyclopedia Britannica, 1998 ed.) This date was chosen in keeping with the holidays already indoctrinated into pagans beliefs. Roman pagans celebrated Dec. 25th as the birth of their ‘god’ of light, Mithra. “In the 2nd century A..D., it (Mithraism) was more general in the Roman Empire than Christianity, to which it bore many similarities” (The Concise Columbia Encyclopedia, 1995 ed.) Other pagan ‘gods’ born on Dec. 25th are: Hercules the son of Zeus (Greeks); Bacchus, ‘god’ of wine (Romans); Adonis, ‘god’ of Greeks, and ‘god’ Freyr of Greek-Roman pagans.

What about Santa Claus?
If aliens descended on earth during the Christmas season, they would undoubtedly believe Christmas as being Santa’s birthday. The words ‘Santa Claus’, appear nowhere in the Bible. However, Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus) was a real person, a bishop, who was born 300 years after Jesus. According to legend, he was extremely kind and set out at night to bring presents to the needy. After his death on 6th of Dec., school boys in Europe began celebrating a feast day each year. Queen Victoria later changed the celebration date from Dec. 6th to Dec. 24th eve.

Did Jesus or his Companions Celebrate Christmas?
If Jesus meant his followers to celebrate Christmas, he would have practiced it himself and enjoined it on his followers. There is no mention in the entire Bible that any of his followers ever celebrated Jesus’ birthday like Christians do today. “The church did not observe a festival for the celebration of the event of Christmas until the 4th century” (Grolier’s Encyclopedia) Thus we see that neither the Bible nor Jesus and his companions say anything about the celebration of Christmas which currently involves fanfare, commercialization, and extravagant spending, devoid of any spiritual relevance.

Ruling on Christmas & New Year for Muslims:
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah. have mercy on him) said in his commentary on the ayah (interpretation of the meaning), “And those who do not witness falsehood [al-zoor]…” [al-Furqaan 25:72]:As regards the festivals of the mushrikeen: they combine confusion, physical desires and falsehood, there is nothing in them that is of any religious benefit, and the instant gratification involved in them only ends up in pain. Thus they are falsehood, and witnessing them means attending them. This ayah itself praises and commends (those who do not witness falsehood), which has the meaning of urging people to avoid taking part in their festivals and other kinds of falsehood. We understand that it is bad to attend their festivals because they are called al-zoor (falsehood). It indicates that it is haraam to do this for many reasons, because Allah has called it al-zoor.

The Origins of 'Christmas'

Origins of Christmas

Let us now move on to the “birthday of Jesus”, Christmas. Jesus (pbuh) is commonly considered to have been born on the 25th of December. However, it is common knowledge among Christian scholars that he was not born on this day. It is well known th at the first Christian churches held their festival in May, April, or January. Scholars of the first two centuries AD. even differ in which year he was born. Some believing that he was born fully twenty years before the current accepted date. So how was the 25th of December selected as the birthday of Jesus (pbuh)?

Grolier’s encyclopedia says: “Christmas is the feast of the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrated on December 25…. Despite the beliefs about Christ that the birth stories expressed, the church did not observe a festival for the celebration of the event until the 4th century…. since 274, under the emperor Aurelian, Rome had celebrated the feast of the “Invincible Sun” on December 25. In the Eastern Church, January 6, a day also associated with the winter solstice, was in itially preferred. In course of time, however, the West added the Eastern date as the Feast of the Epiphany, and the East added the Western date of Christmas“.

So who else celebrated the 25th of December as the birth day of their gods before it was agreed upon as the birth day of Jesus (pbuh)? Well, there are the people of India who rejoice, decorate their houses with garlands, and give presents to their friends on this day. The people of China also celebrate this day and close their shops. The pagan god Buddha is believed to have been born on this day when the “Holy Ghost” descended on his virgin mother Maya. The great saviour and god of the Persians, Mithras, is also believed to have been born on the 25th of December long before the coming of Jesus (pbuh).

The Egyptians celebrated this day as the birth day of their great saviour Horus, the Egyptian god of light and the son of the “virgin mother” and “queen of the heavens” Isis. Osiris, god of the dead and the underworld in Egypt, the son of “the holy virgin”, again was believed to have been born on the 25th of December.

The Greeks celebrated the 25th of December as the birthday of Hercules, the son of the supreme god of the Greeks, Zeus, through the mortal woman Alcmene. Bacchus, the god of wine and revelry among the Romans (known among the Greeks as Dionysus) was also born on this day.

Adonis, revered as a “dying-and-rising god” among the Greeks, miraculously was also born on the 25th of December. His worshipers held him a yearly festival representing his death and resurrection, in midsummer. The ceremonies of his birthday are recorde d to have taken place in the same cave in Bethlehem which is claimed to have been the birth place of Jesus (pbuh).

The Scandinavians celebrated the 25th of December as the birthday of their god Freyr, the son of their supreme god of the heavens, Odin.

The Romans observed this day as the birthday of the god of the sun, Natalis Solis Invicti (“Birthday of Sol the invincible”). There was great rejoicing and all shops were closed. There was illumination and public games. Presents were exchanged, and the slaves were indulged in great liberties. Remember, these are the same Romans who would later preside over the council of Nicea (325 AD.) which lead to the official Christian recognition of the “Trinity” as the “true” nature of God, and the “fact” that Jesus (pbuh) was born on the 25th of December too.

In Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Gibbon says: “The Roman Christians, ignorant of his (Christ’s) birth, fixed the solemn festival to the 25th of December, the Brumalia, or Winter Solstice, when the Pagans annually celebrated the birth of Sol ” vol. ii, p. 383. Christmas is not the only Christian festival which was borrowed from ancient paganism and foisted upon the religion of Jesus (pbuh). There is also Easter the Feast of St. John, the Holy communion, the Annunciation of the virgin, the assumption of the virgin, and many others have their roots in ancient pagan worship.

The History of Christmas

The History of Christmas

In ancient pagan times, the last day of winter in the Northern Hemisphere was celebrated as the night that the Great Mother Goddess gives birth to the baby Sun God. It is also called Yule, the day a huge log is added to a bonfire, around which everyone would dance and sing to awaken the sun from its long winter sleep.
In Roman times, it became the celebrations honouring Saturnus (the harvest god) and Mithras (the ancient god of light), a form of sun worship that had come to Rome from Syria a century before with the cult of Sol Invictus. It announced that winter is not forever, that life continues, and an invitation to stay in good spirit.
The last day of winter in the Northern Hemisphere occurs between the 20th and 22 December. The Roman celebrated Saturnalia between 17 and 24 December.
The Early Christians
To avoid persecution during the Roman pagan festival, early Christians decked their homes with Saturnalia holly. As Christian numbers increased and their customs prevailed, the celebrations took on a Christian observance. But the early church actually did not celebrate the birth of Christ in December until Telesphorus, who was the second Bishop of Rome from 125 to 136AD, declared that Church services should be held during this time to celebrate “The Nativity of our Lord and Saviour.” However, since no-one was quite sure in which month Christ was born, Nativity was often held in September, which was during the Jewish Feast of Trumpets (modern-day Rosh Hashanah). In fact, for more than 300 years, people observed the birth of Jesus on various dates.
In the year 274AD, solstice fell on 25th December. Roman Emperor Aurelian proclaimed the date as “Natalis Solis Invicti,” the festival of the birth of the invincible sun. In 320 AD, Pope Julius I specified the 25th of December as the official date of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Christmas official, but not generally observed
In 325AD, Constantine the Great, the first Christian Roman emperor, introduced Christmas as an immovable feast on 25 December. He also introduced Sunday as a holy day in a new 7-day week, and introduced movable feasts (Easter). In 1834, Britain’s Queen Victoria brought her German husband, Prince Albert, into Windsor Castle, introducing the tradition of the Christmas tree and carols that were held in Europe to the British Empire. In 1907, Oklahoma became the last US state to declare Christmas a legal holiday. Year by year, countries all over the world started to recognise Christmas as the day for celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Have a merry Christmas
Today, many of the pagan uses are reflected in Christmas. Jesus was born in March, yet his birth is celebrated on 25 December, the time of solstice. The Christmas celebrations end the 12th day of Christmas (6 January), the same amount of days that the return of the sun was celebrated by ancient and Roman pagans. It thus is no surprise that Christian puritans – or even conservative Christians – often are upset that Christmas “is not as religious as it was meant to be,” forgetting that Christmas was not celebrated at all until fairly recently.

A Little Something About 'Christmas'

Happy Birthday God !!!!!! Can You Digest This Phrase?

IslamGreatReligion.Wordpress.com

Christmas is here and so the marketing of  Jesus’s godship through festivals, wine, dance parties, Christmas cards and Christmas cakes will be in full boom.
In my school days, Christmas was celebrated with a teacher becoming Santa Claus and giving us gifts. Story books about the wonderful help of Santa Claus towards young children were given to us to read in order to  cultivate an affectionate bond with Santa.
There are thousands of  English schools run by the Missionaries in Mumbai alone where cultural Christianity is inserted through festivals.
A couple of years back I was invited to share the stage in a huge Cathedral school in Mahim. It was a few days before the Christmas vacation. I thought it was a good opportunity to do daw’ah to Christian students by talking to them in their own church. So when my turn came, I rose up and said : “Assalamualaikum…”
To my surprise, I received a thick chorus of Walaikumussalam….More than half the students were Musims assembled in the church !
Have you considered this ?  The Christians ruled the entire Indian subcontinent for almost a century. They built railways, started postal services, ran schools, colleges, hospitals and orphanages, yet by the time they left India they could  not convert the Hindus and the Muslims to Christianity in large numbers! They still happen to be in micro minority.
A new Muslim, who was earlier a Hindu, was approached by a Christian to become a Christian. The revert responded : “Can you give me a few reasons why I should leave Krishna and Rama and instead worship Jesus ?”, “ I used to worship human gods in a large number, Islam made me leave them and now you want to add one more human in the list of  the human gods I have already left?
Islam is the only religion which has protected the original concept of  God. It has structured the fundamentals of Touhid in no less than one third of the verses of the Qur’an.
The longest Surah that was revealed at a time with 165 verses, was Surah al An’am and almost all  of them spoke about Touhid, the Islamic Monotheism. Those who want to introduce Allah in detail should present Surah al An’am. This Surah is  stuffed with the wonderful qualities of Allah which no one in His creations can possess. Not even Jesus.
If you study Judaism and Christianity  you will notice two  extremes in the terms of the concept of God.
The Jews have made god so low that he can be defeated by his slave Jacob in wrestling (Genesis 22 : 14), he can  regret for creating the universe…where as the Christians have raised the position of Jesus to such a height that he was taken up as god.
Among the finest, easiest and most logical arguement that refutes the godship of Jesus, comes from Ahmed Deedat in his debate with Anis Shorrosh ” Is Jesus God “.
The wise man put forth a simple question : “If Jesus is god or if all the three in the Trinity , The Father, The Holy Ghost and the son are one, then can we address Father (God ) as Jesus ? Can we call Holy Ghost as Father ? Can we  call Jesus as Father ?” Ahmed Deedat himself replied ” NO !!! In the entire churchdom this would be counted as a blaspheme , a heresy”
He concluded to which Anis Shorrosh had no answer and I am sure none of the Christian Missionary would also have an answer.

A Few Signs of Faith in Islam

Abdullah ibn Mas`ud related that Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him) once recited the verse: "And whoever Allah wishes to guide, He opens his heart to Islam." (Noble Quran, Sura Al-Anam, 6:125) He then explained it by saying:
"When faith enters the heart, it opens up.
He was asked, 'O Messenger of Allah! Is there a sign by which this may be recognized?' And he said:
"Yes, to lose interest in the place of deception, to long for the place of eternity and to
prepare for death before it comes." (Baihaqi)

Anas related Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:
"Faith belongs to whoever has 3 things: to love Allah and His messenger more than
anything else; to love and be loved for the sake of Allah; and to hate returning to unbelief just
as much as one would hate to be thrown into a fire." (Bukhari, Muslim)

About Iman (faith) in Islam

About Iman
Some definitions about Iman (faith):

Anas related that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) seldomly addressed us without saying:
"He who is not trustworthy has no faith and he who does not keep his promise has no
          religion." (Baihaqi)

Abu Umamah reported that a man once asked Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him), 'What is faith?' He replied:
"When your good deeds make you happy and your bad deeds make you
          sad, you have faith."
And then the man asked him, 'What is sin?' And Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him) replied:
"When anything pricks your conscience, avoid it." (Ahmed)

The Consequences of Betrayal & Forsaking a Muslim

"A Muslim is a brother of a Muslim, he does not oppress him, he does not betray him
and he does not give him up."

"A Muslim is a brother of a Muslim, you don`t belittle him."

"A Muslim is a brother of a Muslim, he does not oppress him, and he does not hand him
         over." (Sahih hasan, Bukhari, Muslim)

You don`t hand over a Muslim to the enemies of Allah the Almighty. By giving him up, you don`t realize it will come to you next, that you will be next in line. As soon as you allow one Muslim to be taken, Allah does not help you anymore and you lose the assistance of Allah.

If you release the pain or suffering of your Muslim brother in dunya (this world), Allah will release you of pain of the Day of Judgement. If you work to help your Muslim brother who is in need, Allah will help you when you are in need on the Day of Judgement. Now all of us knows we can`t make it alone without the assistance and help of Allah the Almighty - we cannot go anywhere!

If you want the assistance of Allah to be on your side, jump to the assistance of your Muslim brother. That`s how you will protect yourself!

Nothing will satisfy Shaytaan (Satan) until he destroys this ummah (Muslim nation). You can`t satisfy him by feeding him one of your brothers. Shaytaan`s hunger is NEVER satisfied!, his thirst is NEVER quenched. If you try to please him by any means, it will not work if we betray or forsake a Muslim who is in need today - be assured that Allah will forsake us tomorrow.

This should serve as a warning to all those who betray their Muslim brothers and sisters and are traitors to their families and religion. Betrayal and deceit, which runs hot in the veins of all those throughout history were guilty of being traitors were always of the same blood and within the same blood family. My family is of no exception to this. For all those in my family who are the betrayers, the traitors, those who oppress and terrorize, the open faced liars, the two-faced hypocrites, those who hate and envy us, spread and preach hatred and jealousy, those who backbite and slander us and use black magic, hope Allah the Almighty forgives them all for they don`t realize what hey are doing and hope Allah the Almighty grants us all His hidaya (guidance), surely without it we will all certainly go astray and away from the true straight path. For whom He guides, He guides and for those He doesn`t, He doesn`t and will go astray into the gates of Hell. And for those Allah doesn`t guide and give His hidaya to, let them all die a dog`s death, pray He gives them all a dishonorable dog`s death.

         manners." (Tirmithi)

Allah withholds from you. Spend what you can." (Bukhari, Muslim)

Jabir reported that Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him) said:
"Avoid doing injustice to others, for on the Day of Judgement, it will turn into manifold
darkness and safeguard yourself against miserliness, for it ruined those who were before
you. It incited them to murder and treating the unlawful as lawful." (Muslim)

Conduct of Hypocrisy in Islam

Mu'adh ibn Jabal related that Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him) said:
"In the last days, there will be people who are brothers in public but enemies in secret."
He was asked how this would happen, and he applied:
"Because they will have ulterior motives in their dealings with each other and at the same will
         fear another." (Ahmad)

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr related Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him) said:
"There are 4 things which, if present in a person, show him to be a complete hypocrite, if someone has one of them he has one part of hypocrisy until he gets rid of it. These are: When he is entrusted with something, he cheats; when he talks, he lies; when he makes promises, he breaks them; and when he argues, he insults." (Bukhari, Muslim)

Ammar Ibn Yasir reported that Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever is double faced in this world, and talks to different persons in differing tones, will
have two tongues of fire in his mouth on the Day of Judgement." (Abu Daw'ud)

'Umar ibn Khattab related that Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him) said:
"What I fear for my people is every hypocrite who talks wisely and acts unjustly." (Baihaqi)

Abu Hurairah reported that Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him) said:
"The worst person on the Day of Judgement will be the one who has a double face. He goes
to one with one face and to the other with another face." (Bukhari, Muslim)

Conduct of Showing Off in Islam

"Showing off is also a kind of Shirk (idolatry or polytheism) because when one tries to show-off, he tries to please someone other than Allah. We should also remember that Shirk is one of the major crimes that Allah does not forgive, unless we give it up and seek Allah`s forgiveness."
