Conflict in Libya: Part II

It seems now that the banner of "protecting" civilians by any and all means in Libya is just a guise as now infrastructure is being targeted on the ground rather "maintaining a no-fly-zone." All the suits in Washington and officials around the world were clamoring and touting for "a no-fly zone" to be instituted immediately but now its evident it has become a search and destroy mission in Libya. Any and all targets have become fair-game and the language in the UN Security Council resolution passed was vague on purpose to allow this. How does maintaining a no-fly zone justify attacks on Col. Qaddafi `s residence and presidential compound if this just to protect the people? And now, reportedly British jets bombed a southern oil-field in Al-Sarir which holds 80% of Libya`s proven oil reserves, if confirmed would officially mark a change in tactics in air strikes which goes against the UN resolution. But again, who cares about the UN right, you just use it for your own goals and ambitions when needed and discard it when you`re done like a wet napkin.

From the rebels this week making news of exporting their first oil shipment and creation of a bank would make you question how could all this be set up in just merely weeks. These specific issues takes time and planning and shows this conflict was pre-planned. How do you in a sovereign nation divide the country and unilaterally control oil exports and banking finances without having "someone" outside pulling the strings or let alone aid in puling the strings. It doesn`t take the normal lay person a long time to understand what really is going on. The so-called rebels in the east of Libya who jumped ship from Qaddafi `s regime are the same people who were cozy with the West and probably still are. Its not surprising at all to figure the U.S. and England are behind this all, trying to "lure people away from the regime for a "new life," basically the same car but with new parts and paint. Back during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, most of the top Republican Guard and Fedayeen generals under Saddam were bribed and coerced by the U.S. with riches beyond their belief and provided with deals and immunity to not fight under Saddam and against U.S. forces.

So you see, this is something not totally new and completely possible and doable, its just a changing of the old guard for another.
