Its just a surprising astonishment that where I consider family being the single most thing that`s supposed to bring warmth to the heart and soul is however in reality one of the most destructive elements a person can be exposed to, that causes you to rot from within. The persistent denial, anger, persecution, back-biting and constant disrespect takes its toll on a person when the whole family wages war on them together. There is no escape, no respite despite keeping up appearances when in reality it is utter futile.

The greatest thing now is the amount of disrespect exacted by everyone upon myself. Respect all throughout history was a thing not attainable but commanded or ordained. From the greatest kings to empires, respect existed in all forms as a guide to society. From the older generations to our parents, respect runs high in esteem. American culture at the core as well values respect. But it is the new immigrant class of people coming to this country that trashes the name of respect. To them, respect is people who have the latest iphones, apple computers, mercedes & bmw cars, flashy and dodgy clothes, squabbling who has more wealth or high-paying jobs, having personalities un-becoming of a gentleman from behavior, to mannerisms and hairstyles not commonly seen or accepted by society in general. To them, the pleasures of this world are respect to them. How vain they must be and think that they don`t see the past lessons of history people have endured.

Now, throughout history we are told of 'family' by the greats like Desmond Tutu who said "You don`t choose your family. They are God`s gift to you, as you are to them" or like a Spanish proverb that states that 'an ounce of blood is worth more than a pound of friendship.' However, these statement only make sense to the few utopian families in existence but not all. I can attest to that personally. What good are they to you when they are of in ignorance bliss.

Sooner or later, the burden will eventually break my will which to this day has been shaky at best considering the life events I`m experiencing at this point. Down the road, only time will tell how the story will unfold. The greats in my family have all long passed away, not having to endure the grueling petulance of life currently in our society. Looking back from afar, it is a great shame what society has become. No one learns the lessons of history, for the mighty empires who stood high and fell. For the mighty advancements we contemplate and currently have, there is no respite from the fact we are more at war with our fellow man and sunk into the pleasures of this world as nothing is beyond it.

It surely is a shame, I as the only person share this view and truly see the light at the end of tunnel and can`t relay my message to my family members. I feel more alone and isolated now than anytime in my life. No one can understand that life right now is just mere smoke and mirrors and play has played into it. It surely is tough being unique and loyal to my core values and beliefs as I will never abandon under any threat until my last dying breath. As is in our religion, as commanded by God to the Prophets to their people - to just deliver the message to the people and ultimately it is up the people and God himself to give them the guidance unto the right path.

For how long will you chase this dunya?

For how long will you busy in your heads and your minds - thinking of dunya (this world), chasing the endless materialistic things?...

Allah says, 'For how long will you chase these worldly things with each other? Competing with one another? Until you visit the grave? For how long is the dunya going to keep you away from me - in your mind, in your hearts? Wait till I get you in the grave.'

Sura Takathur contains heavy verses for you and I, will Allah get us in the grave? Are we going to him happy?

All the things of the dunya you and I chase - USELESS will it be when we come to the grave, it will not benefit us one iota.

Let this be a stern warning to the people, the Muslims and my family members(you know who you are) who drown themselves into the vices of this dunya as if no tomorrow exists nor the hereafter. Your houses, wealth, status will not help you one bit in the grave nor the afterlife. You will certainly have to account for every single penny and material Allah bestowed upon you and account for them. Where will your dominance, arrogance, enmity, jealousy be in the grave or that fateful day when we stand trial in front of our Lord? There will be no respite, but there is still time while possible, use it for good.

When afflicted with calamities or dishonor, do we ever ask ourselves are WE to blame for our misdeeds?

As in human nature, when we are blessed with the bounties of this world - in wealth, children, honor..., we say we say 'we have been blessed.' But on the flip side, when we are faced with calamities, dishonor and despair in the world, we immediately rush to judge, blame and scratch our heads as to why the bounties are being taken away and squandered. Little do we ever think of OUR actions - are they just? are they halal? am I being proud and arrogant? am I protecting my tongue by not engaging in idle talk, gossip and backbiting? am I being loving and caring to my family and elders? do I betray the trusts and promises of others? do I disrespect my elders, my older brothers, sisters, family...? am I deceiving and tricking the Lord? am I following the commands of Allah and example of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

In the Holy Quran, Allah says:

     "But when Allah tries them (the people) through restricting their means of life, then they 
     say 'Our Rabb has humiliated us!'

     Nay! But you did not treat the orphans with kindness and generosity, nor did you 
     encourage each other in feeding the poor! You devour inheritance (of the weak) with 
     greed, and you love wealth with much love!...and hell will be brought near (in sight) that   
     day (Day of Judgment). On that day people will remember (their deeds), but how the 
     remembrance will avail them? (Surah Al-Fajr 89:16-23)

So, people, please examine yourselves. Change begins from within. Be beacons of example and hope for humanity. Humanity is at the crossroads and have begun the march to the qiyamah (Day of Judgement). There is still time for change and reflection and importantly the praise of the Lord above, who has created us only for a short while in this world. Please I urge you all to act more kindly to your family, and leave the ignorant idle talk and actions that are of no use to you in this life - they only mask and deceive reality.

Nothing left to be hurt by ...

There`s nothing of me to be hurt anymore, I`ve been torn apart...

I always knew I was supposed to be a curse. I always knew I would fall alone. At the end of the day, no one came to ask me whether I was ok. To some I[`ve] become a lesson and a person they never want to become and to some [a] stranger, and to some just an orphan who can`t do anything right. Now I am that girl. The girl who seemed unbreakable is finally starting to break, the one who seemed so strong is crumbling apart, the one who always laughs it off is constantly crying, the girl who would never give up, finally quit trying. I just wish there was someone who would come and hug me and tell me they are really there, but the only one who did that was Allah. Its true as Allah says, you come alone and you will go alone, I guess keeping all the pain inside is the best I can do.

A parable of ones life so hurt for caring

How much can one truly endure?

This tepid, tremulous life of couture.

When truly society has become the trappings of this accursed life,

all the while slicing through me with a knife.

O` our loved ones do we love,

but they give us the cold shoulder and shove.

How we lament the old simple days,

where ideas and respect would blaze.

The youth today are of no hope,

not asleep are they but in a coma of dope.

The calamities of this world, befall for 2 things:

the hands that reap and the tongue that lashes and stings.

Will the modern youth and eroding social values bring about the downfall of man?

The youth today are so subservient in the sense of expecting everything to be handed down to them on a silver platter within a second. Its a fast life, nothing will come close. In this day and age, society is not advancing...what, wielding modern technology make us superior? If this was the case, why didn`t the dynastic kingdoms of the great Ancient Egypt, Rome or Mongol not last? Certainly they had the best modern technology available in their day, so why didn`t it help their survival? Why did their combined thousands of years of recorded history and kingdoms end? Well, its all due to the tainting of society. once society gets tainted and deluded into the vices of men from their utter ignorance, it surely befits the downfall of that society and people.

Nowadays we are high on cloud nine, with the latest cutting edge technology at our disposal and fingertips, the latest apple products, computers, cars....etc and the list goes on, but why is our society in decline. Sure some may say how advanced you marks the level of success for society but what good is it when people have lost their morals, character and respect for one another. There is rampant eroding of our basic social values. Where can people say they are truly living in a bliss, no they can`t.

Every society in recorded history led the downfall of the empire. History ALWAYS repeats itself, its like a continuum for us humans here on Earth. No matter how much you learn from it, (which we rarely do anyway), history repeats itself. You may be able to alter it but nevertheless with human nature, it does not change for the overall masses. The silent majority within society is slowly rising up to speak out to the injustices of the majority populous who are truly in ignorant bliss. They will do, believe and behave whatever is said to them, shown to them and shoved down their throats with no hesitation upon the consequences.

Do we humans think, we can outlive one another and the Earth? We walk upon the Lord`s Earth with such pride and arrogance like there is no tomorrow. Its amazing to think we humans who are truly so insignificant walk upon this Earth so haughty to another, but we all will surely die and go to the same grave. Its the dirt that finally shuts up the son of Adam. There is nothing as definite as death in this life, but we never give a fleeting concern or attention.

There is no point in fighting and competing with people of this world over this world. Why compete over material things. Because this world is small and our desires are large, nothing can satisfy this desire of human beings. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said, 'if the son of Adam had a valley of gold, he would request another one and nothing would please the son of Adam, nothing would shut him up except dirt. Nothing would satisfy this greed except the dirt.' When you go back to the dirt that would close and terminate all of your desires.

This youth who are to be future leaders of this world are just subservient pawns on this game of life, who have no sense of responsibility, self morals or characters. How do you sell yourself out like that, easily just like that? We so painstakingly try to 'fit in' in this society with the current fashion, trends, lifestyles, always submitting to 'other people demands' and never your own, why is that, why do that? We never do anything on our won but to appease others in how we dress, talk, behave and on and on it goes. We truly lost our self identity and character, just became a giant billboard for the wishes and wants of others.

We human are capable for so much good, but yet we delve into our past and inner selves to sow the seeds of destruction of our fellow man and the world. We are always so quick to destroy rather rebuild or cure, why is that? Does this destructive nature coarse through the veins of the son of Adam or hardwired into our DNA?

This present society with its eroding social values and unsocial conduct is becoming the times reminiscent of the Bible when the Lord sent His curse and punishment upon mankind for their debauchery and ways. We don`t look around us, that the earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, natural disasters, killings...etc have all increased vastly but no one connects the dots. Are we that bind we can`t see the signs? Or we are too proud to see them and just ignore them outright?

I pray to the good Lord above to give us HIs mercy and guidance. Without it there is no respite, no shadow of a chance to be successful in the afterlife. We take religion for granted but if the dead could speak, they would be testament to the effects of the afterlife and how we squander our time here in this life. This like which is so temporary, fleeting by, yet we prepare for it, plan for it, and decorate as if no tomorrow.

We treat this life as the ultimate thing and nothing beyond it. Yet we humans claim to know such great knowledge no nothing in reality, essentially nothing, we can`t comprehend it. For all we know, it does not even compare, not a drop in the bucket compared to the good Lord. Yet we deny Him? Deny HIs miracles and favors to you?

We humans are truly below the animals in comprehension, for even they don`t deny the existence of their Lord and praise Him always. We humans through our own actions and consequences sow our own destruction and seal our fate. But there is always time to do good and praise your Lord for you never know when it will be your last.

This unrelenting despicable life

It is a real shame one must ask for death to escape this tepidus and despicable life, where everything and everyone around you is so vile in nature that supersedes human comprehension. It is so futile, this life can be so dank with despotism from everyone, especially your so-called loved ones and families. It is the family that is of greatest hindrance in every aspect imaginable. Life is getting so intolerable with so no respite. The word respect is lost in the lips of these individuals who so are regrettably backwards and are below the level of cattle. All they do is follow the ignorant and wallow in their own filth. To them, this life - this world is all pomp and glitter with no distant thought of the afterlife. Their unrelenting disrespect and disregard of human life is up to the boiling point of my life...(RSA)

For those living in this deceiving life, who strive for the bounties of this world as if there in no tomorrow all the while oppressing the very kin next to you, rest assured the pain hurts now but there will be respite for me in the end. Its the end that matters in suit of life.
