"Woe to him, who lies to make people laugh! Woe to him! Woe to him!"

Ibn `Umar related that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:
"When someone lies, the angels (of mercy) flee from him a miles' distance because of the
foul odor he has produced." (Tirmithi)
