Ancient Egypt was the greatest empire on earth, super-state which was ruled by the all-powerful pharaohs. His legacy is enormous monuments that survived for 3000 years. To design such structures Egyptians did not just away from the existing scientific concepts -- they invented them! This is an amazing story of technological progress, due to which there were temples, pyramids, dams and military forts. A specially developed system CGI, almost documentary examines the empire brick by brick, and explains how it was built.

    video was in depth, just the way I like it too, most videos on ancient Egyptology just show the basic stuff and not too much details or the real scientific facts...great choice Rubaiat!

    oh thanks for the info u sent on the Amarna painting, it was great and such high detail! ur cousin must b amazed and happy she has someone who shares the passion of Egyptology with...i know i do...:)
